La Madonna del Latte dell'antica chiesa di San Marco a Gambellara (VI).

The work focuses on the medieval fresco from the ancient church of Saint Mark in Gambellara (VI), which is now preserved in the parish church of Saint Peter Apostle. After an initial historical and artistic analysis of the Vicenza and Verona regions in the 14th century, with particular attention to Gambellara and its events, the fresco in question will be analyzed in detail, relating it to other works in the area and proposing a date and attribution.

L’elaborato ha come oggetto l’affresco medievale dell’antica chiesa di San Marco a Gambellara (VI), oggi conservato nella chiesa parrocchiale di San Pietro Apostolo. Dopo una prima analisi storico-artistica del territorio vicentino e veronese del Trecento, con particolare attenzione a Gambellara e alle sue vicende, sarà analizzato in dettaglio l’affresco in questione, mettendolo in relazione con altre opere presenti nel territorio e avanzando una proposta di datazione e attribuzione.
