L'influenza degli anglicismi sull'italiano: la lingua settoriale del calcio

The present thesis presents the results of a survey on the use of anglicisms in the specialised language of football in the Italian. The first chapter will cover loanwords and the way they enter and are integrated into a different language, followed by a description of the different types of loanwords and calques that have been categorized by linguists. Furthermore, there will be a brief overview of the way anglicisms impact on the Italian language, and more specifically, in the second chapter, on the specialised language of football, alongside an analysis of the social and cultural importance of football in Italy and the way the language used in this scope evolved and changed over time. Lastly, in the third chapter there will be a survey on the usage of anglicisms in the modern communication in football, based on different communication channels, namely sport newspapers, press conferences held by foorball teams, and posts published by football fans on the forum of their club, confronting the results concerning four Serie A teams.

Questa tesi presenterà un'indagine sull'uso di anglicismi all'interno della lingua utilizzata nell'ambito calcistico italiano. Nel primo capitolo verrà esplorato il concetto di prestito linguistico, il modo in cui i prestiti entrano in uso e si adattano a lingue diverse da quella di origine, e verranno inoltre descritti i vari tipi di prestito o calco che sono stati identificati dai linguisti. In seguito verrà brevemente illustrato l'impatto che gli anglicismi in particolare hanno sulla lingua italiana. Nel secondo capitolo verrà invece descritto il loro impatto nell'ambito più specifico del linguaggio calcistico italiano, assieme a un'analisi dell'importanza socio-culturale del calcio in Italia e all'evoluzione del linguaggio usato in tale ambito. Nel terzo capitolo verrà infine descritta un'indagine sull'uso di anglicismi all'interno della comunicazione calcistica attuale, con analisi di diversi canali di comunicazione quali quotidiani sportivi, conferenze stampa delle squadre, e forum dei tifosi, confrontando i risultati riguardanti quattro squadre di Serie A.
