My research deals with the phenomenon of the Grand Tour in Italy from the point of view of ancient writers, with particular attention to Goethe, German poet, writer and playwright who left us an important testimony of his journey in the opera Journey to Italy.
Il mio lavoro ha come oggetto il fenomeno del Grand Tour in Italia dal punto di vista dei letterati antichi, con particolare attenzione a Goethe, poeta, scrittore e drammaturgo tedesco che ci ha lasciato un’importante testimonianza del suo viaggio nell’opera Viaggio in Italia.
