Effetti del turismo di massa in Perù: transizione verso un modello sostenibile

The paper deals with the tourist destination of Peru and the developments of tourism over the years in this destination, focusing on the advantages and disadvantages it has brought. We mainly concentrate on the negative effects of mass tourism and how the destination is trying to counteract them by promoting sustainable and experiential activities. The aim of this thesis is to enhance the value of the territory, history, population, and socio-economic changes of Peru, and to highlight the relationship between tourists and the local population, as well as the changes that are steering the destination towards a sustainable model.

l’elaborato tratta della destinazione turistica del Perù e degli sviluppi del turismo nel corso degli anni in questa destinazione ponendo l’attenzione sui vantaggi e svantaggi che questo ha portato, focalizzandoci principalmente sugli effetti negativi portati dal turismo di massa e come la destinazione sta cercando di contrastarli promuovendo attività sostenibili e esperenziali. L’obiettivo di questa tesi è quello di valorizzare il territorio, la storia, la popolazione e i cambiamenti socio-economici del Perù e mettere a fuoco la relazione tra turista e popolazione e i cambiamenti che stanno portando la destinazione verso un modello sostenibile.
