The following thesis is the result of the internship experience carried out in the municipality of Falcade (BL), the site of the Valfredda stream watershed. The internship and thesis activities are part of the European ERC DyNet project, which aims to provide, for the first time, a systematic long-term recognition of the dynamics, based on both atmospheric and non-atmospheric events, of watershed runoff under variable climatic conditions, and to uncover the causes and consequences of the dynamic and ever-changing nature of hydrographic networks. This study specifically aims to analyze the spatial variability of the chemical-physical parameters of the Valfredda stream runoff. The main objective is to determine how environmental factors influence the characteristics of the runoff. Data on pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, solar radiation, and carbon dioxide were collected at various points along the stream. This study contributes to the understanding of hydrological processes in alpine environments and offers insights for the sustainable management of water resources in these regions.

Abstract
This study contributes to the understanding of hydrological processes in alpine environments and offers insights for the sustainable management of water resources in these regions.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
