Its operation is based on creating a virtual duplicate connected in real time with the physical model and through artificial intelligence techniques and machine learning algorithms, producing useful information for the efficiency of the system. The thesis examines the digital twin technology applied to cellular networks, analyzing its operation, requirements and final objectives.

Il Digital Twin è uno strumento tecnologico innovativo che valuta e rende efficiente un sistema fisico. Il suo funzionamento si basa sul creare un duplicato virtuale connesso in tempo reale con il modello fisico e attraverso tecniche di intelligenza artificiale e algoritmi di machine learning, produrre informazioni utili per l'efficienza del sistema. Nella tesi si approfondisce la tecnologia digital twin applicata alle reti cellulari, analizzandone il funzionamento, i requisisti e gli obiettivi finali.
