The aim of Industry 4.0 is to interconnect and automate a series of technologies, called enabling technologies, in order to increase productivity and product quality. Among these technologies there is additive manufacturing, which allows processing multiple parts within the same production volume. For that reason is necessary to address the two problems of nesting and scheduling. The problem of nesting is to look for the best orientation of the parts in space according to the purpose that you want to get, as to minimize the waste of raw material. The problem of scheduling is the process of organising and optimising work and workloads. In the scientific literature the problems of nesting and scheduling have been widely treated, but independently, this leads to not optimizing the entire production process. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the two problems together, so as to reduce costs and time.

Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the two problems together, so as to reduce costs and time.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
