Analisi di un dispositivo di fissazione esterna e miglioramento della performance del morsetto per traumatologia ortopedica

The objective of the following report regarding the internship at Orthofix SRL is the analysis and evaluation of the performance of the Galaxy Fixation device clamp. The main focus of the internship was laboratory testing to study the device's response to different setups and in the presence of slight modifications in shape and materials. The report analyzes bone fractures and the various fixation techniques, with particular attention to external fixation. Subsequently, it includes the study of Orthofix devices and, specifically, the Galaxy Fixation product.

L’obiettivo della seguente relazione riguardo il tirocinio presso Orthofix SRL è l’analisi e la valutazione della performance del morsetto del dispositivo Galaxy Fixation. Il contenuto principale del tirocinio sono stati i test di laboratorio per studiare la risposta del dispositivo a diversi setup e in presenza di leggere modifiche a forma e materiali. La relazione analizza le fratture ossee e le diverse tecniche di fissazione, con particolare attenzione verso la fissazione esterna. In seguito si ha lo studio dei dispositivi Orthofix e, nello specifico, del prodotto Galaxy Fixation.
