Studio statico di un telaio a traliccio di tubi in acciaio - Ducati Monster S4RS

The purpose of this project is analysis and study of the behavior of a steel tube trellis frame of a Ducati Monster S4RS. At first, the story of this famous type of chassis is explained. The main part of the project is the static analysis of the structure, first referring back to a system of beams and then, after a short explanation, applying loads to it. The behavior of the chassis under the application of loads will be verified and then compared with other static configurations with the aid of a specific software.

Lo studio si propone di studiare e analizzare il comportamento di un telaio a traliccio di tubi in acciaio di una Ducati Monster S4RS. Dopo una prima introduzione sulla storia di questa tipologia di telaio, rinomato nella casa motociclistica di Borgo Panigale, si analizza la struttura staticamente, riconducendosi prima ad un sistema di travi vincolato e applicandovi poi, dopo una breve discussione, i carichi. Si valuteranno poi varie configurazioni statiche del telaio e se ne analizzeranno e confronteranno i vari comportamenti sotto l'applicazione dei carichi grazie all'utilizzo di un software specifico.
