Aerodynamic stall is a problem which occurs in airfoils and prevents them from producing the lift necessary to sustain the aircraft. Lo stallo aerodinamico è un problema che si manifesta nei profili alari e che impedisce a quest’ultimi di produrre la portanza necessaria al sostentamento del velivolo. Le strategie di mitigazione dello stallo sono diverse e comprendono vari fattori: dalla scelta della forma del profilo all’utilizzo di dispositivi, chiamati “ipersostentatori”, che consentono al profilo di lavorare in condizioni critiche che prevederebbero l’insorgenza dello stallo.
