La finanza comportamentale e l'home bias

In this paper, the main biases described in the literature related to behavioral economics will be analyzed. It will then proceed to provide a specific example regarding home bias and analyze the causes of the occurrence of the bias. Techniques such as nudging and financial education that lead to reducing the presence of these suboptimal behavioral patterns will then be addressed. Finally, an in-depth look at the Italian situation regarding financial education will take place.

In questo elaborato verranno analizzati i principali bias descritti nella letteratura relativa all'economia comportamentale. Si procederà poi a fornire un esempio specifico riguardante l'home bias e si analizzeranno le cause dell'insorgere del bias. Si affronteranno poi le tecniche quali il nudging e l'educazione finanziaria che portano a ridurre la presenza di questi schemi comportamentali subottimali. Infine si svolgerà un approfondimento sulla situazione italiana in materia di educazione finanziaria.
