Diversità e sviluppo economico

It is here presented the hypothesis that, in the course of the exodus of Homo sapiens out of Africa, variation in migratory distance from the cradle of humankind to various settlements across the globe affected genetic diversity and has had a long-lasting effect on the pattern of comparative economic development. It follows an insight on the main critical aspects of the research in terms of statistical methodology, conceptual framework and scope of the analysis, complete with the observations moved by scholar of other disciplines and the reply of the main advocates for the "Out of Africa" hypothesis of comparative economic development.

Viene qui presentata l'ipotesi secondo cui, nel corso dell'esodo dell'Homo sapiens dall'Africa, la variazione nelle distanze migratorio dalla culla dell'umanità fino ai vari insediamenti sparsi per il mondo abbia influenzato la diversità genetica e abbia avuto effetti di lungo periodo sullo sviluppo economico comparato. Segue un approfondimento dei principali aspetti critici della ricerca in termini di metodologia statica, struttura concettuale e obiettivo d'analisi, completa delle osservazioni mosse da studiosi di varie discipline e le risposte dei maggiori sostenitori della "Out of Africa" ipotesi per lo sviluppo economico comparato.
