This thesis examines the creative process within the context of traditional and digital art, while also revealing how artists such as Refik Anadol, Ozan Türkkan, and Candaş Şişman have transformed their works into Data Art in light of the technologies they use. In this study, artworks and artists are examined through qualitative analyses based on Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari's Rhizome theory, Gilles Deleuze's The Logic of Sense theory, Margaret Boden's theories of Combinational, Transformational, and Exploratory creativity, Marshall McLuhan's Media Theory, and the concept that "the medium is the message." As a result of the analyses, it has been revealed how the use of data and artificial intelligence affects the creative processes of artists, and how artists, who carry traces of traditional art, have expanded their creative potential by utilizing artificial intelligence and algorithms to create a brand new aesthetic language with technological tools.
