La scrittura dell'amore: un itinerario nella letteratura italiana dal XIII al XVI secolo

This thesis explores the different nuances of love in Italian literature between the Middle Ages and the sixteenth century, highlighting the different points of view, the various ways of writing and perceiving this feeling, analyzing the main works of authors such as Dante Alighieri , Francesco Petrarca and Gaspara Stampa. Considering the latter, in the course of the thesis, it also opens up to a reflection on the voice of women in the poetry of the sixteenth century, examining how the female poets of this period contributed to a different representation of love, in contrast with the perspectives predominantly male. In the following chapters, the thesis also focuses on the homoerotic poetry of the period, offering a detailed analysis of the works and authors who dealt with this theme. The text reflects on how the genre and the different personal experiences of the authors can influence their vision and representation of love, offering a complete and multifaceted vision of the feeling of love in the Italian literary tradition.

Questa tesi esplora le diverse sfumature dell'amore nella letteratura italiana tra il Medioevo e il Cinquecento, mettendo in luce i differenti punti di vista, i vari modi di scrivere e di percepire tale sentimento, analizzando le opere principali di autori come per esempio Dante Alighieri, Francesco Petrarca e Gaspara Stampa. Considerando quest'ultima, nel corso dell'elaborato, si apre anche ad una riflessione sulla voce delle donne nella poesia del Cinquecento, andando ad esaminare come le poetesse di questo periodo abbiano contribuito a una diversa rappresentazione dell'amore, in contrasto con le prospettive maschili predominanti. Nei capitoli successivi, l'elaborato si concentra anche sulla poesia omoerotica del periodo, offrendo un'analisi dettagliata delle opere e degli autori che hanno trattato questo tema. Il testo riflette su come il genere e le differenti esperienze personali degli autori possano andare ad influenzare la loro visione e rappresentazione dell'amore, offrendo una visione completa e sfaccettata del sentimento amoroso nella tradizione letteraria italiana.
