The thesis addresses some theoretical points within Gaston Bachelard's work: how the scientific concept functions and what dialectic it has, starting from the analysis of 20th-century sciences, then the notion of applied rationalism, and how epistemology is structured and what it does based on these considerations. Gaston Bachelard's work helps us understand some key points concerning scientific evolutions and scientific practice, furthermore, it leads us to reconsider the relationship between philosophy and science and the need for a reconfiguration of epistemology to address the changes that have occurred in sciences. The underlying question of this work is to understand the relationship between philosophy and science within epistemology and how the concept is structured in a philosophical position that places or attests the work of conceptual production entirely in science.

Abstract
The thesis addresses some theoretical points within Gaston Bachelard's work: how the scientific concept functions and what dialectic it has, starting from the analysis of 20th-century sciences, then the notion of applied rationalism, and how epistemology is structured and what it does based on these considerations. Gaston Bachelard's work helps us understand some key points concerning scientific evolutions and scientific practice, furthermore, it leads us to reconsider the relationship between philosophy and science and the need for a reconfiguration of epistemology to address the changes that have occurred in sciences. The underlying question of this work is to understand the relationship between philosophy and science within epistemology and how the concept is structured in a philosophical position that places or attests the work of conceptual production entirely in science.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
