This study aims to demonstrate the possibility of a parallel reading between the "Social Contract" and the "Emilio", works of the French philosopher J.-J. Rousseau, in order to identify the correlations that exist between political philosophy and the pedagogical perspective of the author. To bring out the continuity of the works, it is appropriate to focus, in the first place, on the anthropology of the author that rests on the hypothetical assumption of a state of nature free from social vices, and the transition to a degenerating social stage in which freedom leads to inequality. Taking this context as a background, it is possible to demonstrate the link between the state of nature and the state of childhood on the one hand, and the social state as maturity of man on the other.

Abstract
This study aims to demonstrate the possibility of a parallel reading between the "Social Contract" and the "Emilio", works of the French philosopher J.-J. Rousseau, in order to identify the correlations that exist between political philosophy and the pedagogical perspective of the author. To bring out the continuity of the works, it is appropriate to focus, in the first place, on the anthropology of the author that rests on the hypothetical assumption of a state of nature free from social vices, and the transition to a degenerating social stage in which freedom leads to inequality. Taking this context as a background, it is possible to demonstrate the link between the state of nature and the state of childhood on the one hand, and the social state as maturity of man on the other.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
