Today it is essential to consider that we live in a significantly different era compared to the 1980s and 1990s when there was a perception of growth and abundant opportunities. The current society is characterized by increasing complexity and rapid changes; consequently, orientation and career counseling play a crucial role in this period of transition. This thesis aims to give voice to those experiencing a process of change. In the first part, an analysis of the changing work context is presented, highlighting how work organization is evolving along with new employment modalities and changes resulting from phenomena such as globalization, digitalization, and technological progress. In the second part, the focus shifts to job search and orientation, with particular attention to the Life Design perspective and the dimensions of career adaptability. Finally, in the third part, we aim to analyze how constructs such as talents, meritocracy, flexibility, precarity, and decent work, which are widely spread, impact professional planning. This includes a review of various dimensions associated with a positive perspective of one's future, including hope, optimism, resilience, temporal perspective, and professional adaptability. A detailed description of the research methodology used and the results obtained is provided. The research was conducted through an experimental approach combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies, allowing each participant's voice to be heard.

Abstract
The research was conducted through an experimental approach combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies, allowing each participant's voice to be heard.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
