The paper aims to investigate the influence of Jewish tradition in the work of David Albahari. After having outlined the main lines that make up Albahari's human and professional story, focusing on his relationship with the Serbian-Jewish world, the study moves on to an in-depth examination of the author's novels Cink (Zink, 1988) and Pijavice (Leeches, 2005), where emphasis was placed to the rewriting of episodes and theories from the sacred and mystical literature of Judaism.
L’elaborato si propone di indagare l’influenza della tradizione ebraica nell’opera di David Albahari. Dopo aver tratteggiato le linee principali che compongono la vicenda umana e professionale di Albahari, focalizzandosi sul suo rapporto con il mondo ebraico-serbo, lo studio passa a un esame approfondito sui romanzi Cink (Zink, 1988) e Pijavice (Sanguisughe, 2005) dell’autore, dove si è dato rilievo alla riscrittura di episodi e teorie provenienti dalla letteratura sacra e mistica dell’ebraismo.
