This paper proposes an analysis of the multifaceted structure of transvestite identity in the works "Las Malas" and "Soy Una Tonta Por Quererte" by the Argentinian writer Camila Sosa Villada. Choosing a corpus made up of the two works mentioned above, the main focus is to outline the main characteristics as well as metaphors related to the transvestite body described by the author. The study is developed through 3 main axes: the theme of prostitution and its different meanings, the magical and supernatural dimension along with the animal metaphors present in the two works, and, finally, the maternal and paternal figures, providing a specific exploration of their numerous connections with the transvestite world designated by Sosa Villada. The main objective is to reconstruct the complexity of the transvestite reality, a world entangled in several critical schemes, through the viewpoint of the author herself, who stands out for her originality in the way she exposes herself and her unique way of contributing her own perspective as a transvestite woman.
