La ristrutturazione degli jer: dal protoslavo al russo

In my Bachelor's thesis I will analyse the restructuring that jer, that is the reduced vowels of the Protoslavic vowel system (ĭ > ь; ŭ > ъ), have undergone over centuries. I will examine the main phonetic and morphological phenomena that have influenced their restructuring, starting with Protoslavic (an unattested unitary linguistic system from which the Slavic literary languages derive), and finally shedding light on the phonological and morphological repercussions that the restructuring of the jer has left in the Russian language today. More specifically, I will initially discuss the process of their restructuring from Protoslavic to Common Slavic, then from Common Slavic to East Slavic, and conclude with the repercussions of this phenomenon on Russian phonetics and morphology.

Nella mia tesi di laurea triennale analizzerò la ristrutturazione che gli jer, ossia le vocali ridotte del sistema vocalico del protoslavo (ĭ > ь; ŭ > ъ), hanno subito nel corso dei secoli. Esaminerò i principali fenomeni fonetici e morfologici che hanno influenzato la loro ristrutturazione, partendo dal protoslavo (sistema linguistico unitario non attestato da cui derivano le lingue letterarie slave), per arrivare infine a fare luce sulle ripercussioni fonetiche e morfologiche che la ristrutturazione degli jer ha lasciato nella lingua russa di oggi. Più precisamente, inizialmente discuterò del processo della loro ristrutturazione dal protoslavo allo slavo comune, poi dallo slavo comune allo slavo orientale e concluderò con le ripercussioni di tale fenomeno sulla fonetica e morfologia russa.
