This research explores the use of Chat GPT 3.5 and 4 in the production of academic texts, that is to say it is required to chatbot to write a bachelor’s thesis in Communication with a sociological theme. The research investigates the AI’s ability to write academically, but also its ability to simulate semi-structured qualitative interviews. At the time of writing, a long process of data processing was carried out together with Chat GPT, in which it was tested its ability to project the common speech within the interviews generated. The search method involves the exclusive use of texts generated by the chatbot. The thesis is generated in short sections through which are not modified by human intervention. The research analyses each step addressed to write a thesis that can be presented to the rapporteur, highlighting the various limitations of the AI and its strengths. Upon completion of the research, it can be concluded that Chat GPT can be a valuable aid in the research process, but it cannot write a thesis entirely on its own. This research aims to contribute to the debate on academic concerns about AI.

Abstract
This research aims to contribute to the debate on academic concerns about AI.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
