This paper aims to explore the pedagogical contribution of Antonio Gramsci's thought, with particular attention to his "Prison Notebooks". Through a rereading of his prison writings, it seeks to demonstrate that the pedagogical issue in Gramsci is not marginal but an integral perspective within the complexity of the philosophy of praxis. The first part of the thesis introduces some key Gramscian concepts to delve into the universe of the philosophy of praxis and its pedagogical core (Baldacci). The second part focuses on Gramsci's idea of education, analyzing the model of the workers' school with the interpretations of Baldacci and Maltese. The third part examines the school today, highlighting neoliberal hegemony, the characteristics of the neoliberal school, and proposing a Gramscian critique (Baldacci). The thesis has a dual objective: to provide a pedagogical interpretation of Gramsci's thought and to propose a pedagogical use of his writings to address current educational issues. In a context dominated by neoliberal hegemony, it seeks to highlight how Gramsci's pedagogical writings can promote the development of critical and emancipatory thinking in education (Maltese), also emphasizing their relevance in addressing the increasingly widespread forms of subalternity in our era.

Abstract
In a context dominated by neoliberal hegemony, it seeks to highlight how Gramsci's pedagogical writings can promote the development of critical and emancipatory thinking in education (Maltese), also emphasizing their relevance in addressing the increasingly widespread forms of subalternity in our era.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
