Lean Management is a theory that is based on business management by applying lean principles. This concept focuses on reducing waste in order to "streamline processes", involving all company functions in the process of continuous improvement within the company. This paradigm shift is supported by Lean Thinking, i.e. a new way of thinking, a learning model that affects not only the tools and key concepts but also the corporate culture: it is a real philosophy strengthened by an effective system of training and a way to align objectives and projects. In this context, I applied these concepts from the Lean world to make a production line more efficient within the Pietro Fiorentini S.p.a. company. In order to start a continuous improvement project, it is essential to distinguish activities with value for the customer from those that do not add value, optimizing the use of company resources. Lean tools support the analysis with the identification of the various causes relating to the critical issues found within the process in order to implement an action plan to implement the right countermeasures to recover the gap between the current situation and the TO- scenario BE.

Abstract
Lean tools support the analysis with the identification of the various causes relating to the critical issues found within the process in order to implement an action plan to implement the right countermeasures to recover the gap between the current situation and the TO- scenario BE.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
