Design of Experiments with Application to Product Improvement

This Master Thesis details a 4-month internship undertaken as part of the Erasmus+ for Traineeship Program. The internship involved working in the research and development department of a German multinational corporation. The primary focus of the internship was to contribute to an experiment aimed at developing a more sustainable product innovation. The thesis begins with a theoretical overview of Design of Experiments (DOEs) and detergency, providing a comprehensive framework for understanding the project. Subsequently, the practical experience gained during the internship is described, including the development of statistical analyses and participation in laboratory tasks. The internship offered valuable insights into the application of theoretical concepts in a real-world industrial setting, contributing to the development of sustainable products.
