This thesis covers the analysis and improvement of a hose manufacturing process, focusing on the automation of winding and packing tasks. In the first part, the problem is stated. In the second Chapter, a literature analysis is conducted on Lean 4.0 ideology. In Chapter 3, then, all methodologies and analytic tools used to improve the processes are presented, before finally presenting the Case Study of Fitt Polska, in Chapter 4. Finally the conclusions and future insights are discussed in Chapter 5.
