This thesis aims to introduce the theme of social acceleration and "obsession" for perfection through the definitions of Vera King and Hartmut Rosa, then continue with the declination of the phenomenon in various social areas and using different sources. Finally, bring the focus into the educational context by focusing on the need to govern the acceleration process to limit its negative effects on the construction of the new social being. In particular, I would like to consider the violent impact that social media has in this regard.

Abstract
This thesis aims to introduce the theme of social acceleration and "obsession" for perfection through the definitions of Vera King and Hartmut Rosa, then continue with the declination of the phenomenon in various social areas and using different sources. Finally, bring the focus into the educational context by focusing on the need to govern the acceleration process to limit its negative effects on the construction of the new social being. In particular, I would like to consider the violent impact that social media has in this regard.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
