This thesis focuses on analysing European Union funded projects employing Ethical Artificial Intelligence, investigating their consequential effects on the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within Europe. The object of the examination are the strategies deployed by these projects to design Ethical AI and to advance the achievement of SDGs, providing insight into the tangible outcomes and implications that Ethical AI integration can bring within the European context for the achievement of Sustainable Development Objectives. Therefore, the research question pertains to what specific methodologies and strategies have been adopted in projects by international partnerships funded by the European Commission for the development of an Ethical Artificial Intelligence that directly or indirectly contributes to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
