The present thesis has water as its main theme in relation to plants, animals and living beings, with an in-depth study also related to water pollution and water waste. The research was conducted in two Primary School fifth-grades: based on the pre-test, one class was identified as the control group and the other as the experimental group. At the end of the course, analysis of the results showed that the experimental group achieved significantly better outcomes, precisely because of the use of an active teaching approach in which pupils were able to carry out various experiments and directly observe phenomena that are usually explained to them only theoretically. The original experimental hypothesis was thus confirmed.

Abstract
The present thesis has water as its main theme in relation to plants, animals and living beings, with an in-depth study also related to water pollution and water waste. The research was conducted in two Primary School fifth-grades: based on the pre-test, one class was identified as the control group and the other as the experimental group. At the end of the course, analysis of the results showed that the experimental group achieved significantly better outcomes, precisely because of the use of an active teaching approach in which pupils were able to carry out various experiments and directly observe phenomena that are usually explained to them only theoretically. The original experimental hypothesis was thus confirmed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
