Educazione infermieristica per ottimizzare l'aderenza terapeutica nella sindrome delle apnee del sonno

The purpose of this thesis is to collect data from patients suffering from sleep apnea who are treating it with the use of a CPAP machine. Through a specially designed questionnaire, the aim is to investigate possible correlations between the nursing education received and adherence to the treatment. Given the almost complete absence of local patient associations in Italy for those living with OSAS, the sample of patients was sought in the most commonly used place by patients in case of doubts or needs regarding the use of CPAP: mutual aid groups on social media.

Con questa tesi di laurea si ha intenzione di raccogliere dati tra pazienti che soffrono di apnee del sonno e che le stanno trattando con l’utilizzo di macchinario CPAP: attraverso un questionario creato ad hoc si indagherà sulle eventuali correlazioni tra l'educazione infermieristica ricevuta e aderenza al trattamento. Mancando quasi totalmente in Italia associazioni locali di pazienti che convivono con le OSAS, il campione di pazienti è stato ricercato nel locus più utilizzato dai pazienti in caso di dubbi o necessità sull’utilizzo della CPAP: i gruppi di mutuo aiuto sui social media.
