Introduction: This paper examines the importance of targeted nursing education in the management of patients with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), a complex condition requiring multidisciplinary interventions, characterized by emotional instability, difficulties in interpersonal relationships, and self-destructive impulses. This complexity necessitates specialized nursing care. Objective: The main objective of this work is to demonstrate how targeted training can improve the quality of care by reducing prejudice and stigma associated with BPD, while promoting the establishment of a positive Therapeutic Relationship. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted through a review of the scientific literature. The research was carried out using Biomedical Databases such as PubMed, CINAHL, PsycInfo, and general search engines. Results: The literature review highlighted that the lack of specific training is associated with negative feelings among nurses. The introduction of training programs has been shown to reduce these feelings of hostility and improve relationships with patients, leading to a more effective therapeutic relationship. Conclusions: This paper demonstrated that to achieve effective nursing care, it is necessary to deepen nurses' knowledge, introduce Clinical Supervision programs, and provide specific training. Targeted and continuous training, along with Clinical Supervision sessions, are essential tools for enhancing nurses' competencies and, consequently, ensuring efficient care, fostering an empathetic and professional care environment that supports patient recovery and reduces stigma and frustration among nurses.
