In this thesis, the different behaviour of two Adaptive Cruise Control systems was studied. The aim was to provide a general overview of both approaches, also highlighting the main differences. Once these were identified, an attempt was made to standardise the experimental setup in order to prevent it from affecting the comparison. Finally, the response of both models in different traffic situations was evaluated using the Simulink software, trying to assess criticalities and strengths of both models.

Abstract
In this thesis, the different behaviour of two Adaptive Cruise Control systems was studied. The aim was to provide a general overview of both approaches, also highlighting the main differences. Once these were identified, an attempt was made to standardise the experimental setup in order to prevent it from affecting the comparison. Finally, the response of both models in different traffic situations was evaluated using the Simulink software, trying to assess criticalities and strengths of both models.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
