Introduction: Following a comprehensive review of the literature on infant sleep and the administration of a questionnaire aimed at investigating child’s sleep, its impact on the family, and the resources available for its management, the need for intervention has been highlighted. Aim: This thesis aims to analyze children’s sleep and offer support, validated knowledge, and practical strategies focused on prevention and the promotion of greater family well-being. Materials and Methods: The research project is structured into three distinct phases, each with specific objectives and methodologies: Phase T0: Need analysis: In this phase, a questionnaire was administered to a sample of 143 parents of children aged 0 to 3 years to assess the need for intervention regarding children’s sleep. Phase T1: Project implementation: This phase involves the dissemination of an educational-preventive protocol on sleep and the initiation of a sleep counseling service characterized by a personalized and flexible approach. Phase T2: Parent feedback: During this phase, feedback from parents on the service offered was collected. Discussion: The analysis of the data collected during phase T0 has underscored the need for targeted intervention in managing infant sleep and supporting families. The creation of the educational-preventive protocol and the counseling service has provided parents with support, resources for greater comprehension about sleep and practical tools to address sleep needs. Conclusion: The findings of this study emphasize the importance of intervention in managing infant sleep and highlight the effectiveness of the implemented service on improving family well-being.
