In the past decade "functional MRI imaging" has rapidly moved from the research to clinical practice, Functional Magnetic Resonance allows us to obtain information on the neuronal response of the brain associated with a specific task attributed to the patient, therefore it plays a role fundamental in the pre- and intra-operative context to maximize surgical interventions on the brain, avoiding the resection of healthy cortex which could lead to the loss of essential functions such as language and movement. The objective of this paper is to discuss the main characteristics, fields of application and the role of the radiology technician in functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging (fMRI). The medical radiology technician plays a fundamental role in carrying out the exam, as by combining his experiences and technical knowledge regarding the Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment and the study of the sequences he is able to deal with the various problems that may arise thus allowing you to obtain an optimal result.

Abstract
The medical radiology technician plays a fundamental role in carrying out the exam, as by combining his experiences and technical knowledge regarding the Magnetic Resonance Imaging equipment and the study of the sequences he is able to deal with the various problems that may arise thus allowing you to obtain an optimal result.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
