Nowadays, having an efficient production that ensures high productivity at the lowest possible cost is a priority for companies. To achieve this, efforts are made to improve existing plants and create cutting-edge ones by making machinery more efficient, enhancing operator training, and improving the arrangement of machines and operators within the factory. In this thesis, the first part will summarize the various phases that make up the study of the layout, which is necessary to understand how to improve or create an optimal plant. Behind this improvement process are programs that enhance and speed up the study. In the second part, programs and graphic software for layout improvement or creation will be analyzed, along with their algorithms, which are necessary to understand the spatial arrangement of machinery within the company. The thesis will conclude with a description of 3D rendering software that allows for the simulation of the entire production process
Al giorno d’oggi avere una produzione efficiente, che garantisca un’elevata produttività al minor costo possibile, risulta essere prioritario per le aziende. Per far ciò si cerca di migliorare gli impianti esistenti e creare nuovi impianti all’avanguardia andando a rendere più efficienti i macchinari, migliorando la formazione degli operatori e migliorando la disposizione di macchine e operatori all’interno della fabbrica. In questa tesi verrà riassunta, nella prima parte, le varie fasi che costituiscono lo studio del layout, necessario per capire come migliorare o creare un impianto ottimale. Dietro a questo processo di miglioramento sono presenti dei programmi, che migliorano e velocizzano lo studio. Nella seconda parte verranno analizzati programmi e software grafici, di miglioramento o creazione del layout con i loro algoritmi, necessari per capire la diposizione planimetrica dei macchinari all’interno dell’azienda. Si terminerà con la descrizione di software di rendering 3D che permettono la simulazione dell’intero processo di produzione.
