This thesis explores the dynamics of warfare through the contributions of military theorists, a chronicle of the North African conflict during World War II, and an analysis of the logistical strategies employed. Following the hourglass technique, the work begins with a theoretical discussion, focusing on the concepts of Carl von Clausewitz and Basil Liddell Hart. The thesis then shifts to a detailed examination of the key operations in the North African theater from 1940 to 1943, highlighting how logistical conditions influenced the course of the war. Finally, a comparative analysis is conducted on the logistical strategies of the Axis forces and the United Kingdom, underscoring the critical role of logistics in determining the successes and failures of military operations in this context.

Abstract
This thesis explores the dynamics of warfare through the contributions of military theorists, a chronicle of the North African conflict during World War II, and an analysis of the logistical strategies employed. Following the hourglass technique, the work begins with a theoretical discussion, focusing on the concepts of Carl von Clausewitz and Basil Liddell Hart. The thesis then shifts to a detailed examination of the key operations in the North African theater from 1940 to 1943, highlighting how logistical conditions influenced the course of the war. Finally, a comparative analysis is conducted on the logistical strategies of the Axis forces and the United Kingdom, underscoring the critical role of logistics in determining the successes and failures of military operations in this context.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
