RINNOVARE L’EDUCAZIONE: CONTENUTI E VISIONE DEL NUOVO CONTRATTO SOCIALE PROPOSTO DALL’UNESCO

In 2021, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) launched a new social contract for education, aimed at mobilizing resources and collective commitments to renew educational systems in response to the challenges of the 21st century. The document emphasizes the importance of considering not only academic aspects but also the social and cultural dimensions that influence learning, recognizing the significance of a holistic approach to education. However, the real challenge lies in the concrete implementation of these proposals. To what extent can this new social contract truly stimulate meaningful renewal of educational systems? Is it the right tool to address current and future emergencies? This work aims to explore these questions by analyzing the potential impact of UNESCO initiatives on global education.

Nel 2021, l'Organizzazione delle Nazioni Unite per l'Educazione, la Scienza e la Cultura (UNESCO) ha lanciato un nuovo contratto sociale per l'istruzione, mirato a mobilitare risorse e impegni collettivi per rinnovare i sistemi educativi a fronte delle sfide del XXI secolo. Il documento sottolinea l'importanza di considerare non solo gli aspetti accademici, ma anche le dimensioni sociali e culturali che influenzano l'apprendimento, riconoscendo l'importanza di un approccio olistico all'educazione. Tuttavia, la vera sfida si trova nell'attuazione concreta di queste proposte. In che misura il nuovo contratto sociale può realmente stimolare un rinnovamento significativo dei sistemi educativi?
