Formazione e competenze del Tecnico Sanitario di Radiologia Medica, in un’ottica di armonizzazione europea

This thesis focuses on the analysis of the training and competences of the Radiographer in Europe, placing further emphasis on the differences and similarities between the training and professional systems in Italy and Portugal. It examines the historical evolution of the profession, the competences of the technician in different healthcare facilities, and the impact of European regulations on continuing education and clinical practice. Through a comparison of the training models and practical experiences of radiographers in both countries, the thesis proposes reflections on the possibility of greater harmonisation of the figure of the radiographer at an european level.

Questa tesi si concentra sull'analisi della formazione e delle competenze del Tecnico Sanitario di Radiologia Medica (TSRM) in Europa, ponendo un ulteriore accento sulle differenze e somiglianze tra i sistemi formativi e professionali in Italia e Portogallo. Viene esaminata l'evoluzione storica della professione, le competenze del tecnico nelle diverse strutture sanitarie e l'impatto delle normative europee sulla formazione continua e la pratica clinica. Attraverso un confronto tra i modelli di formazione e le esperienze pratiche dei TSRM in entrambi i Paesi, la tesi propone riflessioni sulla possibilità di una maggiore armonizzazione della figura del TSRM a livello europeo.
