The non-aligned movement emerges as a group formed by countries external from the two blocks, the communist and the capitalist ones. Officially, the movement was born in 1961, with the Belgrade conference, although its principles were formed in 1955, the year in which the Bandung conference took place. This thesis analyses the period between 1955 and 1961, with particular attention to the conferences of Belgrade and Bandung and to the historical moment and the figures that emerged and made this movement born

Il movimento dei non allineati emerge come un gruppo formato da paesi esterni rispetto ai due blocchi, ovvero quello comunista e quello capitalista. Ufficialmente il movimento nasce nel 1961, con la conferenza di Belgrado, seppur i suoi principi si vanno a formare nel 1955, anno in cui avviene la conferenza di Bandung.
