This thesis explores the concept of educational assessment, which is a process that measures and analyzes students' progress and skills, with the aim of optimizing teaching and learning by providing feedback and support to their educational journey. Specifically, the paper here focuses on justice and equity-oriented educational assessment, with the aim of examining how resources and opportunities in the educational context can be distributed more equitably and justly, ensuring that all students have equal access to educational success. In addition to the theoretical analysis, the thesis presents exploratory research conducted with secondary school students aimed at investigating their perceptions regarding assessment.
La presente tesi approfondisce il concetto di valutazione educativa, ovvero un processo che misura e analizza i progressi e le competenze degli studenti, con l'obiettivo di ottimizzare l'insegnamento e l'apprendimento, fornendo feedback e sostegno al loro percorso formativo. In particolare, l’elaborato qui presente si concentra sulla valutazione educativa orientata alla giustizia e all'equità, con lo scopo di esaminare come le risorse e le opportunità nel contesto educativo possano essere distribuite in modo più equo e giusto, garantendo a tutti gli studenti pari accesso al successo formativo. Oltre all'analisi teorica, la tesi presenta una ricerca esplorativa condotta con studenti della scuola secondaria di secondo grado, volta a indagare la loro percezione riguardo la valutazione.
