Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neuropsychiatric conditions in childhood and adolescence, significantly affecting students' academic performance and quality of life. This thesis examines the crucial role that school play in identifying, intervening and supporting students with ADHD. Through a literature review, the teaching methods and behavioural strategies, adopted by educators, are explored to promote inclusion and academic success for these students. The importance of effective collaboration between teachers, parents and mental health professionals in creating a positive and sustainable learning environment is also discussed. The results suggest that targeted interventions, such as personalized educational plans and the implementation of behavior management techniques, can significantly improve attentional abilities and reduce hyperactive behaviors in children with ADHD. The thesis concludes by emphasizing the need for continuous teacher training and inclusive adaptations, including of the learning environment, that recognize and address the specific needs of students with ADHD, thus promoting their academic and personal development.
