Cerebral stroke is a serious condition that affects either the right or left hemisphere of the brain. In this study, we analyzed data from patients who had experienced a stroke and underwent structural T1 magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as well as neuropsychological evaluation, including assessments of mathematical and financial abilities using the NADL and NADL-F scales. We conducted statistical analyses to map the relationship between lesions and symptoms using an R package called “LESYMAP,” in addition to examining behavioral correlations. The results revealed interesting associations between lesion localization and functional deficits in patients. This study contributes to the understanding of the neural basis of stroke and may have important implications for rehabilitation and clinical management of affected patients.

Abstract
This study contributes to the understanding of the neural basis of stroke and may have important implications for rehabilitation and clinical management of affected patients.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
