Migración, violencia y feminicidios en la "Frontera Norte" : Ciudad Final de Kama Gutier

The present work aims to find and analyze the relationship between migration, violence and femicide in the Mexican border context. In the first part, an analysis of the concept of border with its socio-cultural and linguistic problems is carried out with specific references to the Northern Border. It also points out the main characteristics of Central American migration, the causes and risks that migrants face when they embark on their journey to the United States. Everything is developed from a literary perspective. The focus of the second part is on female participation in migration ; it investigates the origins of feminicide and the complex relationships between the maquiladora industry and the murders in Ciudad Juárez reported in the novel Ciudad Final by Kama Gutier.

El presente trabajo se plantea el objetivo de encontrar y analizar la relación entre migración, violencia y feminicidio en el contexto fronterizo mexicano. En una primera parte, se lleva a cabo un análisis del concepto de frontera con sus problemáticas socioculturales y lingüísticas con referencias específicas a la Frontera Norte. Asimismo, se señalan los rasgos principales de la migración centroamericana, las causas y los riesgos a los que los migrantes se enfrentan al emprender el camino hacia Estados Unidos. Todo se desarrolla desde una perspectiva literaria. El enfoque de la segunda parte se dirige a la participación femenina en la migración; se indagan las raíces del feminicidio y las complejas relaciones entre la industria maquiladora y los asesinatos de Ciudad Juárez relatados en la novela Ciudad Final, de Kama Gutier.
