The thesis will deal with the evolution, development and valorization of the localities of San Michele al Tagliamento and Bibione. The first chapter will focus on the tourism phenomenon, explaining its evolution over history, the definitions and how the impacts of the international geopolitical situation have affected tourism. The second chapter will illustrate the Tourist Destination and the concepts of Destination Management, Destination Management Organization, Destination Management Plan and Destination Marketing. The third chapter will deal with the Veneto Region by examining its offer, tourist flows, Regional Law 11/2013 and the Destination Management Organization (OGD) of Veneto and the Strategic Tourism Plan 2022-2024 will be illustrated with particular reference to the 2024 Annual Tourism Plan. The fourth chapter will take into consideration the locations of San Michele al Tagliamento and Bibione by examining the resources, attractions, tourist flows, the brand, the Destination Management Organization (OGD) of San Michele al Tagliamento and Bibione and the Destination Management Plan. The fifth chapter will introduce new proposals for improving the locations.
La tesi andrà a trattare l’evoluzione, lo sviluppo e la valorizzazione delle località di San Michele al Tagliamento e Bibione. Il primo capitolo verterà sul fenomeno turistico spiegandone la sua evoluzione nella storia, le definizioni e come gli impatti della situazione geopolitica internazionale hanno inciso sul turismo. Il secondo capitolo illustrerà la Destinazione Turistica e i concetti di Destination Management, Destination Management Organization, Destination Management Plan e Destination Marketing. Il terzo capitolo si occuperà della Regione Veneto esaminandone l’offerta, i flussi turistici, la Legge Regionale 11/2013 e l’Organizzazione di Gestione della Destinazione (OGD) del Veneto e verrà illustrato il Piano Strategico del Turismo 2022-2024 con particolare riferimento al Piano Turistico Annuale 2024. Il quarto capitolo prenderà in considerazione le località di San Michele al Tagliamento e Bibione andando ad esaminare le risorse, le attrazioni, i flussi turistici, il marchio, L’Organizzazione di Gestione della Destinazione (OGD) di San Michele al Tagliamento e Bibione e il Destination Management Plan. Il quinto capitolo introdurrà nuove proposte di miglioramento delle località.
