The following thesis entitled "Euthanasia: Italian and Spanish legal systems compared" aims to compare, from a juridical and legal point of view, the sensitive theme of euthanasia in Italy and in Spain. The structure in chapters introduces a general discussion of the topic, providing first an etymological definition of the term and explaining the different euthanasia practices; then it deepens and examines the theme with respect to each country, with reference to concrete cases. The drafting language is mainly Italian, adding a second part written in Spanish. In order to refer to the relevant legislation, among the sources consulted for the collection and organization of the content there are mainly Italian and European legal databases.
