The final paper deals with the cognitive biases inherent to depression, within the thesis you will find a first introduction on what depression is based on the DSM5 definition with the addition of etiological, demographic, incidence and genetic data. Following this part, there will be 4 structured chapters. The first chapter deals with the mechanisms underlying the cognitive deficits in major depression, the second chapter exposes a reference model which is that of Beck where there will also be a study in which there is a correlation between cognitive distortions and humorous styles. In the third chapter the written work focuses on the meaning of anhedonia and how much this influences the individual based on the different situation and context. Finally, the last chapter deals with emotion regulation in depression, including paragraphs that talk about cognitive processes, perception, attention and false memories in memory inherent to depression.

L'elaborato finale tratta i bias cognitivi inerenti la depressione, all'interno della tesi troverete una prima introduzione su che cosa è la depressione sulla base della definizione DSM5 con l'aggiunta di dati eziologici, demografici, incidenza e fattori genetici. Successivo a questa parte, vi saranno 4 capitoli strutturati. Il primo capitolo tratta i meccanismi alla base dei deficit cognitivi nella depressione maggiore, il secondo capitolo espone un modello di riferimento che è quello di Beck dove inoltre vi sarà uno studio in cui vi è la correlazione tra le distorsioni cognitive e gli stili umoristici. Nel terzo capitolo l'elaborato scritto si concentra sul significato di anedonia e quanto questa influenzi in base alla diversa situazione e in base al diverso contesto l'individuo. Infine l'ultimo capitolo tratta la regolazione delle emozioni nella depressione includendo dei paragrafi in cui si parla dei processi cognitivi, della percezione, dell'attenzione e dei falsi ricordi nella memoria inerenti la depressione.
