This work explores the evolution of diagnostic tools in psychology, comparing traditional methods with emerging theories and technologies that have enabled the development of a transdiagnostic approach. Following an analysis of traditional diagnostic instruments such as the ICD and DSM, their validity, reliability, and limitations will be discussed. New diagnostic theories, the shift from an evidence-based to a process-based system, and innovative models like HiTOP and RDoC will be reviewed. Subsequently, an overview of innovative and technological tools for transdiagnostic diagnosis will be presented, supported by studies and research. Finally, future prospects, which appear promising in light of the scientific literature reviewed, will be examined, though not without potential challenges. It is crucial to integrate technological innovation in diagnosis while ensuring that the benefits and expertise of traditional methods are not overlooked.

Abstract
It is crucial to integrate technological innovation in diagnosis while ensuring that the benefits and expertise of traditional methods are not overlooked.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
