Proposta di un modello per il miglioramento continuo nei centri distributivi. Il caso Zafferano S.r.l.

The thesis concerns the proposal of a continuous improvement model for business logistics. In particular, the focus of the model is on improving processes in distribution centers through the Kaizen approach and the proposal of technological and structural improvements, obtained through benchmarking on best-in-class companies. Given the framework for improvement strategies, the thesis also describes the improvement project followed by the graduating student in the distribution center of Zafferano S.r.l., a company that has been dealing with the design and distribution of tableware and lighting items since 2001.

L'elaborato si articola nella proposta di un modello per il miglioramento continuo per la logistica aziendale. In particolare, il focus del modello verte sul miglioramento dei processi nei centri distributivi tramite l'approccio Kaizen e la proposta di miglioramenti tecnologici e strutturali nel processo, ottenuti tramite benchmark su aziende best-in-class. Contestualmente al modello, l’elaborato affronta anche il cantiere di miglioramento seguito dal laureando nel centro distributivo di Zafferano S.r.l., azienda che dal 2001 si occupa del design e della distribuzione di articoli per la tavola e l’illuminazione.
