In today's society, interest in issues related to inclusiveness and representation of diversity has become increasingly growing, to the point of dictating the need to conform to these changes in various areas. Fashion is not exempt from this adaptation. In this sense, Artificial Intelligence plays an important role, as it allows to overcome the barriers of standardization, a phenomenon that for centuries - in the fashion industry - has done nothing but categorize people within predefined ranges, such as that of standardized sizes, on the basis that there are insubversible aesthetic canons. The following paper, following a historical-cultural overview that highlights the evolution of the concept of inclusivity in fashion, describes the main algorithms that are implemented for the customization of clothes, taking into account physical, ethnic and gender diversity, as well as disability. Nowadays, technologies such as predictive analytics, body scanning and recommendation systems make it possible to create clothing that can be suitable for anyone. However, it should be noted that the use of these tools presents significant risks and dangers, mainly related to bias and privacy protection. The discussion will be supported by the presentation of a concrete example of a company that has used these technologies to make fashion more inclusive: Levi's.

Abstract
The discussion will be supported by the presentation of a concrete example of a company that has used these technologies to make fashion more inclusive: Levi's.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
