Green therapies are therapeutic interventions that use contact with nature to improve mental and physical well-being. This thesis work explores the applications of such therapies in the general and at-risk populations, with a focus on their preventive role. In the general population, green therapies have been shown to be effective in promoting mental health, reducing stress and increasing physical well-being. Particularly in the at-risk population, such as in individuals with metabolic syndrome-a condition that includes obesity, hypertension, and metabolic disorders-these therapies can be a valuable complementary tool in the prevention and management of chronic diseases. Through stress reduction, promotion of physical activity, and improvement of metabolic parameters, the integration of green therapies offers an innovative and sustainable approach to the treatment and prevention of these issues, contributing to the improvement of patients' quality of life.

Abstract
Green therapies are therapeutic interventions that use contact with nature to improve mental and physical well-being. Particularly in the at-risk population, such as in individuals with metabolic syndrome-a condition that includes obesity, hypertension, and metabolic disorders-these therapies can be a valuable complementary tool in the prevention and management of chronic diseases. Through stress reduction, promotion of physical activity, and improvement of metabolic parameters, the integration of green therapies offers an innovative and sustainable approach to the treatment and prevention of these issues, contributing to the improvement of patients' quality of life.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
