L'elaborazione uditiva nelle persone con problematiche associate all'autismo

The paper briefly describes the techniques, the type of task, and stimuli that have been used to date to analyse the auditory processing in people with autism-related problems. It also describes the results of various research that help to clarify the functioning of auditory processing in these people. The paper is structured as follows: INTRODUCTION: Definition of autism according to the ICD-11 and description of the typical auditory pathway. METHODS: Presentation of the techniques, type of tasks and type of stimuli used in the study of auditory processing of people with problems associated with autism. RESULTS: Presentation of the scientific evidence obtained by applying the various methods. CONCLUSIONS: Summary of the anomalies present in the auditory processing of people with autism related problems.

L'elaborato descrive brevemente le tecniche, il tipo di compito, gli stimoli che sono stati utilizzati ad oggi per analizzare l'elaborazione uditiva nelle persone con problematiche associate all'autismo. Inoltre, descrive i risultati delle varie ricerche che permettono di chiarire il funzionamento dell'elaborazione uditiva in queste persone. L'elaborato è così strutturato: INTRODUZIONE: definizione di autismo secondo l'ICD-11 e descrizione della via uditiva tipica. METODI: presentazione delle tecniche, del tipo di compiti e del tipo di stimoli utilizzati nello studio dell'elaborazione uditiva delle persone con problematiche associate all'autismo. RISULTATI: presentazione delle evidenze scientifiche ottenute applicando i vari metodi. CONCLUSIONI: sintesi delle anomalie presenti nell'elaborazione uditiva delle persone con problematiche associate all'autismo.
